Summer lesson scheduling time!

Warm nights and lemonade are just around the corner . . . . .

SUMMER LESSON FACTS:
* Summer term (4/28 - Labor Day)
* While school is in session (April 28 - June 7), lesson times all stay the same as during the school year
* During the 18 weeks of Summer term,  you get 12 lessons (average of 3 lessons a month, just like during the school year)
* You are in charge of looking at the calendar and counting to make sure you have 12
* If you want more than 12, you may pay extra
* Students continuing in the fall need to pay for 12
* Monthly payment rates stay the same as through the school year.
* For lesson times starting June 8, I will be assigning you a weekly lesson time. (If your schedule can not accommodate the time listed, let me know and we can work out a change)
* There will be no lessons at my parent's house during the summer.
* When you are traveling, or not able to have a lesson, mark your lesson time as FREE. If you need a different lesson time on one week, look for another FREE spot and place your name there.
* 24 hours notice is needed to cancel a lesson
* You may take two lessons a week if you have extensive travel and are not in town often.
* School schedule of lessons resumes August 24.

CALENDAR DIRECTIONS:
* Go to Google.com
* Look in the upper right hand corner to see who is logged in
* Click the blue person (or picture)
* Click "Sign Out"
* Click the group of 9 dots that looks like a push button phone keyboard
* Click "Calendar" (looks like a blue 31)
* Type in the username and password sent to your email.
TA DA!! Access!!
* Mark FREE in your place when you can't make it to that lesson
* When you find a FREE spot you want, mark your student's name there and adjust the time as needed.
* When you change a spot on the calendar, click the button to "change only this instance" of the event in stead of the whole series.

If all of this overwhelms your computer skills, I am happy to take time during a lesson to look at calendars together to figure out what works for you.

GROUP:
Summer groups will be meeting at my house on many Friday afternoons. Since there is not tons of room at my house, this will be a student only group for book 1 and up.  Parents can come for the Pre Twinkle class. We will be playing rhythm and theory games as well as continuing performance classes. Look at the google calendar to see the dates and times.
