A parent in my studio, Scott Tanner, is a fabulous violinist and teacher, and has just decided to open up his violin studio to more students. He is a rarity in the violin teaching world since he combines both a great technical foundation and musical education with a sense of fun and comfort moving at the child's pace instead of being driven by the pressure to keep up with the prevailing pressure to advance quickly.
